    SomaSource® Life Cycle Leadership Training

    Boulder, CO

Join Melissa Michaels, Ed.D. and a team of seasoned and gifted educators for this experiential inquiry into each of Life's Cycles. Each day will invite a moving journey into our personal biographies throughout the life span coupled with a pedagogical study of the developmental tasks for each phase.

Utilizing the expressive arts, ceremony, and scholarly study, we will further befriend our own stories so that we can serve one another and the next generations from a place of inner-freedom and consciousness. Together, we will access developmentally sound ways to somatically heal and serve in the world.

Our journey will also consider the unique assignment each soul has been given pre-conception and how that blueprint unfolds through birth, infancy, childhood, adolescence, adulthood, into old age and death.

Our work will be rooted primarily in the works of Rudolf Steiner, Gabrielle Roth, our Elder Educators, and Melissa's three decades of working somatically with individuals from conception through death.

Pre-requisites for this training are participation in at least two previous intensives with Melissa or equal training with other 5 Rhythms® Practitioners and/or Somatic Trainings.

This training is for those of you who are committed to learning how to integrate the arts of body, heart, and soul ever more fully into your lives, professionally and personally. Although we have touched on this material in many different ways throughout our years of work together, we have never integrated this whole map into a developmentally sensitive body-centered teaching that embraces both the inner and outer work. This training will offer you a very intensive experience that can stand alone. It will also offer a preview of the full 3 year SomaSource® certification process that will begin in 2014.

Location: The StarHouse ~ Boulder, Colorado

    Fee: $1200.00 + $35.00 Non-refundable Application Fee
    (Payment Plans Available)

To Register: Download at www.bdanced.com. Please email your form to us at office@.bdanced.com or send your form and fee to PO Box 7478, Boulder, CO 80306 by January 15th. Applicants for the SomaSource® training will hear back by February 15th. Applications received after the deadline will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Acceptance will be based on personal readiness, previous experience, professional application of this material in the world, and after that on a first come, first serve basis. Once you have been accepted into the program we will send you registration materials.
