Nourish the Roots

Ancestral Song Circles

Lift your voice. Remember your lineage. Sing the world whole.

In these song circle series, we gather to learn the songs of our ancestors in their native tongues. Each melody carries a history — stories that cradle the song and ripple into our lives today. Together we explore how ancestral songs and stories can bolster our resilience, support our work for decolonization and anti-racism, and nurture a more just and loving world.

At the heart of our gatherings is song itself: voices rising together as people have always done, weaving prayer, courage, and beauty into offerings for a world in need of healing and nourishing. No prior experience is necessary — only a willingness to show up with your voice and heart.

What We’re Singing Now

Our current circles focus on the Celtic regions of the British Isles — songs of praise and prayer, of blessing and love, of work and rest, of seasons turning, of death and dying. Songs to carry into our daily lives, to our people and places and communities, guiding us and sustaining what we cherish.
